BIRTH MANIFESTA -
Sacred, Supported, And Dignified Birth Starts Here
We hold that birth is sacred; every birthing person deserves to navigate their reproductive journey with respect and autonomy. Birth Manifesta exists to restore dignity, safety, and reverence to birth, protecting the maternal memory of Black birthing people and their families through care that is culturally grounded, healing-centered, and rooted in trust.
We serve families and birth workers through support, education, and community, because birth is not just a moment; it shapes families, strengthens communities, and creates legacies that ripple through generations.
Our Manifesta
What makes Birth Manifesta different?
Everything we do is rooted in our H.E.A.L. Framework — Honor and Homage, Education and Embodiment, Advocacy and Arts, Liberation and Lineage. This framework shapes every class, every birth, and every conversation, because care should honor the whole person.
Healing-centered care and cultural grounding sit at the heart of our work, in pursuit of reproductive justice. We honor both the sacredness and the science of birth, holding space for ancestral wisdom alongside clinical knowledge so families can make informed choices from both. Families feel respected, informed, and supported. Birth work is a calling, and our birth workers and doulas receive training that meets that calling. Every choice in this journey belongs to you; we're here to inform it, not dictate it.
We invest in knowledgeable birth workers and lasting community, building environments where families are truly seen, held, and cared for.
